Message : The reason the Poorman isn't on the ROQ anymore is because he had differences with the program director, who is a dick because look what KROQ has become, the originals DJ's who created the roq from their own freedoms don't exist or don't have th at freedom anymore. If you knew anything about program directors, KROQ hasn't had a very good line of them, look at the one who went on to MTV and took that idiot Kennedy with him. Could it be that Kennedy was sleeping with the program director. If Poo rman xould speak he would tell you how it is. Unfortunately all we have for a true voice now is Howard Stern, the only man that isn't restricted by the media power. BRING BACK THE POORMAN! Bring back the original KROQ. Kevin and Bean are o.k. but they don't even compare to the Poorman's morning show. How does Riki R. feel taking over a show that another man created for the betterment of society?

Message : It's good to see Big Wave Dave speaking his mind. I've been listening to KROQ since the early eighties and have seen it go straight down hill. If you get a chance, go rent "Men at Work" with C.Sheen and E.Estevez and you will hear the voice of P oorman doing a show that was completely awesome, "Openline" as I recall, it was on Sunday mornings from 5:00 to 7:00. Anything went and it usually did. I'd love to see some of the old features come back it's what made KROQ great. If anyone has the lowdown on why Poorman got booted and why he isn't on the air somewhere else, please E-mail me and let me know. Last i heard, he was still in Newport. Riki blows ass and needs to be replaced. I would bet that even Dr. Drew would like him back.

Message : Last I heard the Poorman was living in Huntington Beach in an apartment. I know he left KROQ or was asked to leave because of differences with the program director at the time. Basically the program directors got "anal" on everyone who worked there. Look at Kevin and Bean reall closely, they can't be themselves, their under the gun, afraid of losing what they have. Bring back the originals, it's amzing Rodney Binginhiemer is still on, they'll probably get rid of him next. Bring back the ori ginal KROQ. BRING BACK THE POORMAN!
