New music! The Toyes new CD has been released. The Toyes are best known for their hit "Smoke Two Joints." We're pleased to announce that the Toyes have agreed to let Kroq listeners preview samples, from their new CD here on the Unofficial Kroq Homepage. The original "Smoke Two Joints" is also on the CD, digitally remastered. You'll need the Iwave Player to listen. It's called "Something Went Down In Jersalem." 12/14/96 - Caduseus : great new band from Wales - radio interview. Caduseus have a very special line-up of compatible musicians - with a rare chemistry and synergy that results in their unique music. Lead vocalist Jim Griffin recently said in a radio interview; "Our sound is not contrived or manufactured in anyway - basically the first time we played together it was all there. We do not set out to imitate, but most people can hear flavours ranging from early Pink Floyd, through to Tea Party and late Led Zeppelin mixed and merged with totally new dimensions within our music. We experiment and stay with what works!"

I've posted a new audio introduction and one of the songs from the movie Trainspotting.

The song is called Reasons for Living. It's kind of slow and mellow, but has a good sound and lyrics. If you don't have the Iwave player yet, read on for info on getting it. More songs will be added later, so get the player!

Iwave Sound Technology

Iwave is an awesome new sound compression format for real time audio over the Internet. You don't have to wait for the entire file to download before you listen to it. Check out the Iwave section - download the Iwave player and come back and listen to some of the Iwave files here. I've revamped the Unofficial Kroq page, added a menu bar at the top, and a few things I've written. I tried to keep everything as small as possible so the page will load fairly quickly.
