Submitting Pictures using FTP

A lot of visitors have written in asking how to FTP pictures in
for use on the site. I've added some links to good tutorials on how
to FTP, and to the software you'll need to do it.
Anonymous FTP offers the advantage of allowing you to submit photos
or stories anonymously. Unlike email, there is no return address or
name when you submit picutres using FTP. If you'd like send in a
story, or a description of your pictures with your submission I recommend
that you create the text with a simple text editor and save the file
with a .txt file ending, and then upload (ftp) it in with your
pictures. This will keep you anonymous. Or you can deposit your
pictures with ftp and send a description via email to [email protected] but this reveals
your email address and name. So to be completely anonymous, submit
both pictures and any text via FTP.

How to FTP pictures in to the Pumping Site
This assumes that you have an FTP client and are somewhat familiar
with the FTP (File Transfer Protocol) process. Read the above
tuturials if you need help.
With your FTP client go to : ftp.newart.com
Login anonymously and go to the directory pump. You can then
upload your pictures.
