I am aware that it is quite normal, however it strikes me that it may well
be one of the functions of our body which has become unneccessary, i.e.,
other animals may need it for careful regulation of sperm production temp.,
but maybe we don't need this function anymore - like you said - they were
'originally made to suck your balls up into your body to protect them when
you're scared or in danger'. This is no longer really relevant to humans
today. I wonder if there is any research done into sperm counts for men
whose balls ride high and those who don't - I doubt it. If it didn't matter, then
we could happily stretch until they reach a good hang - but how?
