Hi Marker. The pressure reached was 10mm on the gauge. That's not too much; if fact, by sucking I got to a higher pressure, but it took a lot longer.
I was haveing to pump for 5 to 6 hrs to get results that I got in less than 2hrs with the hand pump setup. A lot of that time before was spent on just getting the vacuum high enough to produce results only to have to re-create that vacuum over and over each time I took a break for messaging (every 20 to 30 minutes).
Speaking of "break" - yes I am concerned that the jar may implode, but I think that the small pressure being applied isn't enough to do it. I'm not into self castration! I remain cautiously optimistic (and likely foolishly ignorant too).
