Use a water based lubricant, and fill the jar 1/2 way with warm/hot water. Not only does this give faster pumping results that last longer, but it creates a superior seal. If you hold the jar tight against your crotch, so that the spigot is just out of the water, this should enable you to get an initial seal, until you lay down and really put the suction on it. I've found that 20 minutes on, 5 minutes off for about 2-3 hours gives great results.
