I have been shaving for a few yrs now. Itching is usually the result of the hairs coming back out (at least for me) and only lasts a day or so. I usually shave a during the first part of the week before the weekend.

You might be trying to shave too close or need to use another type of lube or shaving cream. I usually shave in the tub and use with antibacterial moisturizing soap (I bathe in) or some sun tan oil applied to the area. I also found a flex blade dual blade razor that works pretty well also (my Norelco was too agressive and cut the skin).

I suspect that if your itching lasts that long, it's due to skin issues instead of the shaving itself. Try some aloe moisturizing "after sun" gel or a light coat of a thin sun tan oil.

I tried Nair (including the moisturing version) and did not like the results (or smell). So I went back to the razor. Might try "Magic Powder".

I started shaving and found that I liked the feel of my unhaired balls against my leg and the feel of the area in general. It makes my cock rings and ball stretchers get a better grip not to mention an occasional pump session. I only shave my cock base and balls leaving everything else alone. I also like the look.
