SALINE I.V.s -- How do you do it?

Who has done saline IVs? I've heard about them and would like to try it.

Where do you get the saline?
Where do you get the IV equipment?
Where do you inject the scrotum?
How dangerous?
How long does it last?
Any complications like infection?
