Big Mac has some good suggestions on sealing a monster tube. It will also help to pump for a while in your 2-stage, to get bigger before you use the monster. When you are bigger you'll have an easier time sealing.
I generally pump in my 2-stage until I'm on the point of getting stuck anyway. The monster tube is so big and heavy, I don't use it until I have to.
