I think it's different for everyone. As long as you can wear them all day that's good. I started to not only wear my weights but then to swing them through my legs. I feel that the extra pulling as centrifical force takes over adds to the weights themselves. I'm still showing progress but its real slow. That's why I started reading the messages at this site. Want to see what others are doing and say about pumping before I try it. Good luck.
