As the subject of penis and testicle enlargement is for the most part avoided in the regular press, any books on the subject are of great interest to most men. Of the thirteen books Gary Griffin has produced, eight deal directly or indirectly with penis and ball size. Having studied these books from cover to cover I feel I am in a position to offer some comments.

Because Mr. Griffin has been involved in this endeavor for some years now, he has accumulated quite a following. Some of those people are rather fond of Mr. Griffin and have credited him with a sort of guru like status in this area of male development. These folks may take some objection to the critical stance I will present here, however I feel it is necessary to be completely honest with one another. The open candid nature of the Pump Forum has attracted men who enjoy the free exchange of the information we receive here. Many of these men have become friends with me through Email, I see it as my duty to share what I know with my fellow enlargers.

With respect to the Penis Enlargement Books by Gary Griffin, published by Added Dimensions Publishing; don't waste your money, you will learn nothing from those books that is not readily available here at this site for free. Instead, invest your money in quality equipment, pumps, tubes etc. If you wish to learn why, then read on.

In one of my previous postings I warned people about a heavily advertised web site that was selling useless information regarding enlargement. Quite a few of you wrote to me for the specific site to avoid. Gary Griffin is not guilty of such an offense. However, from reading his books one can't help but see that this is a profitable enterprise for him. Now all you guys know there is nothing wrong with making some money for selling a good product, but this is where my contentions begin to arise. Whichever book of his you read, you are infused with the idea that you must purchase all his books to get the complete picture. This to me is manipulation for profit. By the time you've ordered all his books and spent over $130 US ( this doesn't include his quarterly publication or additional video), you will find that you should have spent that money on a good pump and read the Pump Site thoroughly. The more of his books I read, the more disappointed I became.

The masthead of Griffin's publishing is the book- "Penis Enlargement Methods - Fact and Fallacy", the thickest and most expensive of his books. A wordy 208 page piece that, incredibly, one must read a lengthy 112 pages of, before a single enlargement method is presented. For a book that is called Penis Enlargement Methods, to have only one of it's eight chapters actually deal with methods, is an indication as to exactly how much useless filler the rest of the book contains. This unfortunately sets the stage for the rest of Mr. Griffin's books, as you will find the same tired stories repeated over and over from book to book, along with the same badly reproduced photographs.

The manipulative self promotion of his other books becomes tiresome and infuriating. In the above mentioned book on "Methods", he describes the Jelq method you've heard talked about at the Pump Site, then he follows this up with the prompt to order another of his publications for "the complete instructions". Are you beginning to get the picture?

The excessive amounts of needless filler, and self promotion show that he is more interested in selling additional books than imparting enlargement wisdom. I'm not sure if Gary Griffin has an additional source of income, but he certainly appears to be flogging this dick thing for all it's worth. Now granted, some of the info is useful but is of questionable value when compared to the resources of a wonderful site like Pump. All his methods could be listed concisely in one book of less than 100 pages and would constitute a reasonable value, but as it stands now, you end up feeling ripped off and used.

Besides the shameless manipulation of your pocket book, the books contain so many errors and omissions their credibility is questioned. In case you think me unfair, I shall cite a few specifics. In the interest of keeping this review to a manageable size, I will only list a handful of the multitude of his mistakes. But first let's look at a quote of Mr. Griffin as he discredits another writer's enlargement booklet because it's "replete with misspelled words and grammatical lapses." He goes on to say that anyone "with a bona-fide education would certainly not be guilty of such academic solecisms." Mr. Griffin says he found the fellow's booklet "peppered with typographical errors - further detracting from its credibility". So by using Mr. Griffin's own measure for assessment, his own material is not to be accepted as credible. His own books contain typos beyond number, as well as other shortcomings that diminish their worth.

One particularly irritating feature is the non standardized use of measurements, one minute he's measuring penises in inches then the next page he's reverted to centimeters. Some methods that he has tried are validated by results, whereas other methods that he claims to have been practicing for 3 years, have no results or explanation given. Perhaps one has to order another upcoming book for those results. At the bottom of the pages he lists useless bits of trivia such as the size of a whale's testicle or the deviant sexual preferences of long dead Popes. While these may be of interest to someone playing a perverted version of Jeopardy, they are a waste of time and space for those of us seeking tried and true enlargement techniques. Especially when these useless bits of trivia are repeated 3 or more times in the same book! At other times these little quips provide nothing more than frustration, as one of them states; "Many Italians claim that Basil leaves can be used to increase penis size." This statement is not accompanied by any documentation or explanation. Who are these Italians, and how do they use these Basil leaves?

Another feature that could be construed as false advertising, is the phony bait that Mr. Griffin uses to market his books. For instance on his Web site you will see the line inviting you to buy his book and read about, "the man with the 30" penis that dances in Hong Kong night clubs." Then again on the back cover of the P.E.M. book this is repeated, "the man with the 30" cock that dances in Hong Kong night clubs. (page 115)". Well, when you do finally track this story down ( it's actually on page 151), you'll find nothing but a scant paragraph on this "dancer". Which is promptly followed by Griffin's statement that no evidence exists that such a man ever was, and that Griffin himself doesn't believe the story. Then why is it in his book? There are in fact chapters and chapters of such unsubstantiated hog wash. Terms like "allegedly" or "rumored to be" accompany the majority of his stories, not to mention the laughable, "a super secret research project allegedly conducted by the Pentagon".

At this point you're probably finding Gary Griffin's talents would best be utilized by writing tabloid style fiction. This is compounded by his section on "well endowed celebrities", which includes page after page of anecdotal comments like; "it is claimed that", or "it is rumored that " or some one who once saw it in a public rest room wrote and told me. Of course there are no pictures in this section to substantiate any of the "rumors", and what do gossip and old wives tales have to do with physical development? As mentioned earlier, the pictures he does have are mostly of such poor quality and so badly reproduced that it's difficult to tell what they are. The clearest shots are the promotional pics of the empty pump tubes supplied by the makers. Further on Griffin promises to deliver photos in his "March of Cocks", these pictures he says will show 6 penises "starting with an average sized 6 -incher" and ending with "a pendulous 11- incher", there is in fact no 11-incher photo, and his promise of six photos never materializes.

Griffin's penchant for creative fiction is nowhere less evident than in his book "The Horseman's Club" which he advertises as "encounters with men sporting elephantine penises". This bit of fanciful fiction is inexcusable. It's a poorly written homosexual version of letters to Penthouse forum, where each of the men "encountered" has 12 or 14 inches. Three or more times a guy is described as having "the biggest cock in the world", how can three or more guys all of different sizes all be the "biggest in the world"? These stories are verified by pathetic pencil drawings, give me a break! Those of you who are not of the alternate persuasion may be a bit put off by the fact that all of these tall tales are in fact homosexual pornography, which wasn't mentioned in the ad. Gary Griffin, himself a homosexual, who likes to refer to himself as "a size queen", is perhaps intimately interested in the subject of large penises, but not sufficiently detached enough to offer unbiased honest reporting.

In closing I must state that it has not been my intention to bash Gary Griffin, his books or his enterprise. I'm sure that some people may be distressed by my comments here, but out of loyalty to the many men that frequent this fine site, and my many penis enlargement pen pals, I could not keep silent on this issue and remain in good conscience. It is my hope that Mr. Griffin cleans up his act and produces one book that is worthy of praise, and when he does, you can be certain I shall be the first to say so.

Thank you

Gilburto
