Yes. I do believe it keeps the skin soft and moist, some lubs let the skin chapped. Although the choice of lub is very personal I think Abolene and olive oil (cold pressed one) are the best lubes. Abolene you can find at any WalMart Drugstores in the USA but not in Europe.
And boths are great for a hot J/O.
