I use both styles interchangeably. I changed
the plumbing on the CTC slightly, moving the
adjustment valve to be at the cylinder instead
of at the pump as it was delivered. This minor
adjustment makes it more convenient keeping the
pressure "just right". The standard connector
is missing from the CTC cylinder, but the male
connector of the vacutech makes a good connection when simply
by insertion into the tubing at the CTC cylinder
(sans CTC pulse valve). I like the CTC cylinder
for length work and at 1 3/4" diameter, I get out
to the walls in about an hour using the Vacutech
and then pulse the length with the CTC pump..
gives me great looking results.
