The reason you probably couldn't find it is because
it's not called the "Gripe" (complain or affect with
gastric pain). It's called the Grip (to grasp tightly).
Quite a difference one little letter "e" makes.
Maybe the extra "e" belonged in the word "get" which
you spelled "git."
Might we suggest a little less time spent watching the
Beverly Hill Billies and a bit more time in a book.
