Hi Chris,
The guy who replied below is quite correct about pumping in the tub.
Not only do you not worry about spills and know when you've got a good
seal, you also get much faster results too, especially on the balls!
I like to pump while sitting at the computer, so I learned early on how
to fill the tubes just right to minimize the chance of spills. The key
is to only fill the tube about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way with the hot water.
This is to provide for space and an air pocket at the top of the tube
after you put it on, turn it upright when you sit or lay down, so water
is not sucked into the pump. You will soon get the hang of it and can
practice while in the tub. I seldom have spills any more.
