Metco Pump - cheap and built that way!

Hi -

Ordered a Metco "trigger release pro" pump, their
midline model. It arrived today, about 3 weeks after
I placed the order.

Well, I'm glad I purchased a Manual Boston pump ($139.00)
while I was waiting for this thing to arrive. The Metco
about the same quality as a $18.95 "porn shop" pump I
bought about 10 years ago as a toy, not as a tool.

It's poorly constucted, with a cheap rubber gasket for
a seal at the bottom, and the pump on mine barely works
It's got a release hole drilled in the side of the tube
which can be taped over, but still is not realistic
for longer sessions.

I'm assuming that returning it would be an exercise in
futility, so I'll pitch it. BTW - the video and
instruction manual don't tell you anything you won't
see in any of the FAQ links off this site, so they're
not much of a value either.

In short, my evaluation is don't waste your time and
money - get a good pump and a good tube if you're
serious about this - spent the 100-150 for a good manual
and forget these toys.

Happy pumping.

Pepper
