Look for a hobby shop, then ask if they handle cold molding rubber or urethane compounds.
ALWAYS use some sort of release compound, urethane was developed to be a glue!
Vaseline won't work, it fucks up the compound, and it won't "set".
If the hobby shop aint got it, try a pottery supply house, there's a lot of use in that trade.
Some compounds develop heat as they set, so steer away from them.
Have you tried plaster of Paris?, thin mixture, over a condom.
Rubber may stick to the plaster, so use a condom as a release.
Please post your answer, I have thought of this my self, but never tried it.
