Recently my cylinder has been showing signs of stress, I've noticed small cracks along the entire cylinder. The cylinder is made by the Boston Pump Works company and is of good quality, or at least it was! What have I done wrong with it. I have another cylinder, same make, but bigger, and it's fine. Maybe I'm using the wrong lubricant. I've used in the past: vasoline, vitamin E lotion, WET lubricant, Warm water, and Mineral Oil, even thooth paste (only twice)! Now I'm using a soft hand lotion with Aloes. What can cause these cracks, this cylinder is only 2 years old. Have I over used it!!! I kind of like that idea...
