Pumping will cause a darkening of the skin. I believe that this is caused by blood being forced into the outer layers of the skin. It will take several months of non-pumping for this to go away. I believe that it is a harmless condition. Pumping at lower vacuums will help to minimize this condition. I also use a thick wall Vacutech cylinder so the whole penis shaft is subject to a vacuum and is now all the same color. At least it just looks sun taned now. I have started to pump at low vacuums 4-5 in and to hang a 2 pound weight from the cylinder. It seems to give a good stretch and I notice that it is making the head much bigger and not wrinkly. It helps to use an electric pump when doing this. I also use a Champ mivcrowaveable heating pad around the cylinder. Good luck
