I realize that there is something to be said for vulgarity, but it is usually a mark of someone who has nothing to say, and fails to say it succinctly. Verbal mud wrestling should have its own forum. Criticism can be pointed, amazingly so without resorting to the language of drunken louts. It takes a bit of skill to use any of the tools which we have, but it's well worth it. Surely you don't encourage empty and lengthy profanity at your dinner table, do you? How much more important to exercist a little more restraint when in the company of others. Vulgarity is the sign of failure in an exchange of words. Let's try to do better, and remember what we are here about.
