me, it's not enough weight to make even an incremental increase in length. If you really want to stretch your tool, try hanging at least 2 lbs from a noose or if you want to use 4-8 lbs you should try the Grip (http://www.thegrip.com)
just make sure you don't spend your money on any of the other crap they sell (the Grip by itself costs $159.00). Anyhow, good luck!
