I know it's dangerous to use electric pumps with
water because you can electrocute yourself but I
wonder if there is any way of getting around this.
I want to use an electric pump while I'm in a full
tub with water in the cylinder. I realize the water
in the tub makes for an electrical path to ground
through the tub water drain pipe which is grounded.
I think a way around this is to place some sort of
insulated plastic container into the tub with it's
own separate water spigot drain. The plastic container
could be filled with water from the tub faucet. The
tub itself would be left unfilled without any water so
as not to be an accidental return electrical path
to ground. Would this work and can anyone think of
any other way of doing this?
Thanks
