I would not pump while someone else is in the house. Part of getting a good pump is your frame of mind and you can not be in the right frame of mind if you are worried about other people hearing you.
If you have a car then a find a good isolated place and recline the seat and go to work. You can also store the equipment in the trunk in a duffel bag. You should buy one with two zippers that meet, with little wholes for a small paddlock to go through. That may seem extreme, and may even raise a question if someone sees it, but it is better to be asked why you have a locked duffel bag in your possession than a penis pump.
One other suggestion: find someone else with a similar interest in pumping in your area and do your pumping at his house. This is also more erotic, and you will then get a better pump.
