Your'e using too much vacuum. Lighten up a little. What causes it is the inner lining of the foreskin which is really mucous membrane and not skin. It reacts more to the stimulation of the vacuum and expands more rapidly than the skin tissue does. The amount of this tissue you have will also determine how prevalent the donut is.
If your circ scar is down the shaft a ways, you'll get a bigger donut. You can minimize it also by taping the area between the head and your circ scar. Some guys have noticed a lengthening of the foreskin remnant after repeated pumping. If you wish to restore your foreskin, this can be a fun way to do it.
