I have found the XL2000 to be quieter than the old
XL1000, but to make it absoulutly silent, I made an
insulated box with foam inside. Just like the old
boxes they used to have for the older stlye noisy
computer printers. I made some holes for air flow
so the motor stays cool. I've tried every electric
pump on the market and wouldn't trade my current
setup for anything.
