One thing to tell your man is that he won't have a ten-incher, so don't get his hopes up.
If he truly has an "average" penis (around six inches in length, depending on which survey you look at), an increase of four inches is almost beyond the realm of possibility. Even if it can be done, it would take upwards of four or five years of regular pumping.
Ask him if he's doing it for you or for himself. If he really wants to do it for himself, then give him all your encouragement. If it's just for you, then really ask yourself if you're putting undue pressure on him.
