New Pumper:

Yes, it's possible and works very well. I have a Vacutech electric that I use with either a two stage or a single 2.25".

The method to pump safely with electric is simple.

1. Place pump unit on table equal or higher in height to where you plan to pump.

2 The tubing should then drape in a U shape with the extra tubing coiled at the bottom of the U. This will form a vapor trap.

3. Lubricate sufficiently for growth and sealing.

4. Fill tube to desired level with warm water. Usually half will allow expansion without overflow.

5. Insert yourself into tube and with it properly sealed, sit or recline so tube is vertical.

6. Connect tube to pump and set desired level. Monitor the tube as you expand that the water level does not get within 1/2 inch of the top.

7. Maintain the tube vertical throughout your session.

Done correctly, you may have some vapor trapped in the coil which will dry by your next session. However, no moisture will reach the pump unit.

I have been doing this for 18 months without incident and good result.

Good Luck
